Florida International University

Florida International University (FIU) was established in 1965, is a public research university located in the American metropolis of Greater Miami, Florida, USA. FIU has two major campuses in the Miami Dade County, with the main campus at University Park. Florida International University is classified as a research university with high research activity by the Carnegie Foundation and the first-tier research universities by the Florida Legislature, FIU is the youngest university awarded Phi Beta Kappa chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the oldest academic honor society in the country.
